A. Calvert wrote 'Exploring Expedition... NW Australia 1891'. It is unconfirmed as to whether or not he also illustrated it.

Sketcher(?) and author, wrote 'Exploring Expedition… NW Australia 1891’. The State Library of New South Wales holds 8 pen and ink 'Sketches of Australian Scenes’ c.1890, possibly originals for the journal. There is some speculation that while Calvert wrote 'Exploring Expedition’ he in fact employed somebody else to illustrate it. eg. Walker Hodgson.
