Mrs A. (Allison) Syme is identified as an interior designer in Beryl Guertner's 1967 book "Australian Book of Furnishing and Decorating" where her work is illustrated on p.28-29, 31. She was a member of the Society of Interior Designers (of Australia) in 1953.
