Addison was an illustrator and architect. It has been suggested that he is the author ( as well as the illustrator) of Terry and Oakden. What to Build and How to Build It: A Few Hints on Domestic, Ecclesiastical and General Architecture. George Robertson and Co., Melbourne, 1885. This work offers illustrations such as “Scheme for Arrangement and Decoration of A Room”, an early work on Australian interior design.
