Trained by Janet Mansfield. Exhibited Blackfriars Gallery, Australian Craftworks and The Potters Wheel, Sydney. In 1982 and 1984 trained by Kato Kenji in Japan & Yoshida Yoshihiko. In Japan Alexis exhibited at Gallery Hana in Tokyo and Maruei, Terariya and Meitesu Galleries Nagoya. In 1990, Alexis became Director of the Stanthorpe Art Gallery. In 1995 Lecturer in Ceramics Faculty of Arts University Southern Queensland.
