painter, scene painter and (supposedly) cartoonist, was the eldest of the three artist sons of Alfred Clint and a grandson of the English painter Alfred Clint (1807-1883). Alfred T. Clint exhibited with the Society of Artists in 1917. His 'Old Shop, Windsor’ – presumably Old Inn, Windsor , a watercolour on silk (Mitchell Library) – was shown in the Sydney Art School Retrospective Exhibition in 1933.
Possibly also related to the London mezzotint engraver George Clint (1770-1854) to whom Thomas Lupton, mezzotint engraver on steel, was apprenticed.
