Painter, came from the USA to Australia, apparently in the 1870s. She showed a painting of the Grand Canyon in an Australian exhibition in 1872. Not long after her arrival she drew an enormous sketch on paper backed on silk of Cape Woolamai,(68×100cm) now in a private collection, Sydney.
