Cabinet carver, literate, protestant and married with two children who was convicted at Middlesex in 1862 and arrived in 1864 aboard the Clara. He obtained his ticket of leave in 1866 and was self-employed from then as a carpenter, labourer and sawyer at York, Perth and Champion Bay. He is listed as a Toodyay cabinetmaker in the 1879-1884 Almanacks.
