A professional photographer who worked with Octavius Hill of the famous Hill-Adamson calotype partnership in his native Scotland. There are only a few surviving prints of photographs taken while in Australia.

  • Guirme Oct. 19, 2016 His correct name is Alexander McGlashon (also spelled with the "...an" ending.He travelled to Melbourne from Edinburgh in November 1854 and left Melbourne to return to Edinburgh in April 1857.
