Painter and artefact creator of the Gunditjmara clan of Warrnambool, Victoria. He studied for a Diploma of Arts (Visual Arts) at RMIT, Melbourne. Travis has worked as a manufacturer of Aboriginal timber artefacts since the 1980s. Together with Mandi Travis he owns Gunditjenous Aboriginal Craft retail store. Through the business Travis conducts boomerang painting workshops and throwing demonstrations as well as didjeridoo playing and cultural talks.
