Part-time painter who exhibited oil paintings Gwellup and Nocturne with the West Australian Society of Arts in 1922 in the Industries Hall in Barrack Street, Perth. Cooper also exhibited other versions of Gwellup in 1925 and 1927. His 1928 entries in the society’s annual exhibition were Morning Dunsborough Beach, Cathedral Rock Dunsborough Beach and a number of other Dunsborough oil and watercolour paintings and Sunlit Pastures which was not for sale.
