Born at Mt Coniston in about 1947, Betty Forrest is Anmatyerre/Warlpiri. Her country is Redbank and she paints Goanna, Bush Beans, and Bush Plum Dreamings. She lives at Willowra and has been painting since 1989. She is married to occasional painter Teddy Long and related to other artists in the Willowra community.
