Born in Queensland in 1964, Brad Go-Sam, a Jittabul descendant of the Djirrabalgn people of Ravenshoe, North Queensland creates, paints and french polishes didgeridoo’s (yidaki’s) and also is a painter of works on canvas. He has been creating work since the mid 1990s and in 1997 was a featured artist in the fouth annual Aboriginal Cultural Festival in Cananda. In 2001 Go-Sam had a solo exhibition in Santa Fe, New Mexico, USA. His work was also featured in the 2001 Brisbane exhibition “Gatherings, Contemporary Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Art from Queensland, Australia”.
