Brian Johnstone

Johnstone formed a partnership with Hugh Hale, a Brisbane-based interior designer to open the Marodian Gallery in Hale's rooms in Brisbane. The partnership dissolved and he later opened the Johnstone Gallery in the Brisbane Arcade, Queen Street. He and his partner Marjorie Rose Mant began a `Home Salon’ to complement their gallery.
