Bruce Fairlie b. 1 January 1932

Fairlie was a boat designer and builder, beginning with powerboats and progressing into sailboats. He was the designer and developer of the "Clansman" class sailboat (1964) and his Sydney shipyard also produced the Cole 43 (designed by Peter Cole) and other hulls.
