professional photographer, set up business on his own in 1868 in George Street, Yass, but later that year was in partnership with Thomas Boston at Cooma Station, Yass, the explorer Hamilton Hume’s former home on the outskirts of the town. The following year Boston and Barker were at Lambing Flat (Young). In 1873 C.F. Barker was taking photographs at Learsville station, Buckley’s Crossing (NSW).
