C. Youle Dean was a graphic designer. His father was Edward Charles Dean.

Draughtsman and Graphic designer, son of Edward Charles Dean was born in Ireland and arrived in Australia in 1863 with his parents. He married Beth Congdon in 1874. Dean worked in Geraldton from 1877-78 before becoming chief draughtsman in the Lands Department. He also delineated addresses.
