Clive Carney

Clive was an interior designer and design retailer. Together with Edna Carney, he established "Artistry", an interior design studio in Sydney, later in Melbourne. His daughter June Carney also entered the firm. He wrote and edited three significant texts on interior design and his 1950 work, "Furnishing. Art and Practice" (Oxford Univ. Press) would be one of the first interior design works published in Australia.
