A Warlpiri speaker, Dadu Nungarrayi Gorey lives at Yuendumu and has been painting for Warlukurlangu Artists since 1990, when her work was shown at the Darwin Performing Arts Centre. It has since appeared in the company’s exhibitions in Perth, Melbourne, Hobart and the Gold Coast. Dadu Gorey paints her Wardapi (Goanna), Warlawurru (Eagle) and Marlu (Kangaroo) Dreamings.
