Daisy Napangardi b. 1955

Anmatyerre artist and daughter of senior Mt Allan head man, Frank Japanangka. She lives between Napperby and her traditional country, Yuelamu (Mt Allan).

Though she usually lives at Napperby, Daisy’s heritage country is Yuelamu, and she paints Yuelamu (Honey Ant), Little Snakes Underground and Bush Tucker Dreamings. Her father is Frank Japanangka , one of the most senior men at Mt Allan. She was born in 1955 and is an Anmatyerre speaker. She lives at Mt Allan and is married to another Mt Allan artist, Denny Jampijinpa .
