Born at Bond Spring c. 1950, and an Arrente speaker, Dorothy lives with her family on a block of land outside Alice Springs. She works for the Tangentyere Council, and has painted Women’s Dreaming, Bush Berry and Euro Dreamings since the early ’90s and sold them through the Jukurrpa artists’ co-operative, based at I.A.D. One of her paintings was given by the Arrente Council to the Royal Australian Navy on the occasion of the naming of their ship Arunta in October 1992. Dorothy’s country is Sandy Bore.
