Dulcie Lamb was a weaver based in Western Australia who learnt at the Red Cross during World War II. She became part of an exhibiting group and sales collective arranged by the interior designer Maria Dent. Between 1947 and 1953 they exhibited in the King Edward Hotel. Others in the group included Astrid Colebatch, who had learnt in Sweden on a visit home to her family; Mrs Robinson, who lived in Austen Street, Subiaco, and wove rag rugs during the war; Miss Blythe; Hilda Stephens; and Norma Rolland, who had learnt in the Eastern States.
