Kayser is an industrial designer. He studied at the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology in industrial design (diploma) 1958, Royal College of Art UK 1963. He designed for Moulded Products, 1959, Hoover UK, 1960-1961, Crown Crystal Glass, 1965-1966, Melbourne. He was in the industrial design practice Grunwald, Kayser and Associates.
