Elsie V. Cooke was a painter. She had been a student at Fremantle Technical School in 1916 under Daisy Rossi. Cooke exhibited with the West Australian Society of Arts in 1913, 1920 and 1928.

Exhibited paintings with the West Australian Society of Arts in 1913, 1920 and 1928. Cooke had been a student at Fremantle Technical School in 1916 under Daisy Rossi where she passed freehand drawing, light and shade and elementary antique. In 1928 she exhibited an oil painting Gum Blossoms with the West Australian Society of Arts.
