Evelyn Davie (nee Riessen) is a descendent of the Wongangudu and Yankunytjatjara peoples of South Australia. She is based in Cooper Pedy, the Opal Mining town of northern South Australia. In 2006 she participated in the local Cooper Pedy NAIDOC exhibition with her work that was an acrylic on canvas painting depicting a dog being pushed around in a trolly by its owner. Davie also participated in the 2006 Our Mob exhibition at the Adelaide Festival Centre.
