Description

During 2005 and 2006 the Parliament of Victoria celebrated the 150th anniversary of the official opening of the first Parliament in Victoria. The 2006 NAIDOC Art Exhibition brought together renowned Indigenous artists to mark the occasion, and explored themes of democracy and representation, and looked at the historical significance of Parliament House from an Indigenous perspective.
