Florence Britten was a painter who lived most of life in Adelaide.

painter, was born in New Zealand; studied painting at the Royal Academy Schools, London; spent most of her life in Adelaide. In the AGSA 1946 catalogue is her The Drinking Boy (copy of Murillo in National Gallery, London) 1911, oil colour, purchased 1914. It was omitted from the 1960 AGSA catalogue, presumably deaccessioned.
