Student at Perth Technical School under J. W. R. Linton and A. B. Webb. Exhibited an oil painting The Old Water Wheel with the West Australian Society of Arts in 1925. In 1926 he exhibited Fremantle Cottage and Looking North. In 1936 his exhibit was an oil One Fine Day.
