Domeny De Rienzi, illustrator, adventurer and travel writer, published Océanie; ou, Cinquième Partie du Monde in Paris in 1836-1837. He described himself as a traveller in Oceania, the Orient and elsewhere. His book was a general and historical survey of the Pacific region.
