Artist, with Peter Todd , made a small version of the NSW War Memorial in Hyde Park in 1997 as a Gay and Lesbian memorial. The large walk-in model emphasising the interior was exhibited during Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras (February 1997) at Roslyn Oxley9 Gallery, Paddington. The artists aimed to erect a four-metre high exterior model in Taylor Square but were too late for 1997 (in 1998?). 'Mr Carsley said the exterior and interior were meant to represent the separate public and private lives many homosexuals were forced to live’, quoted SMH 11 February 1997, along with a response from the RSL.
