Gayle Maddigan is a Wemba Wemba, Wertigikia and Nari Nari woman from Victoria. In 2005 she won the Works on Paper category at the Telstra National Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Art Awards.

Gayle Maddigan is a descendant of the Wemba Wemba, Wertigikia and Nari Nari tribes of Victoria. She has a Diploma of Fine Art, a Graduate Diploma of Secondary Education and a Master of Fine Arts.

In 2005 Maddigan was awarded the Works on Paper Award at the Telstra National Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Art Awards at the Museum and Art Gallery of the Northern Territory, Darwin.
She is a painter, drawer and photographer.
