Callaghan studied interior design at East Sydney Technical College, practiced as Modernage Interiors, Dymocks Bldg and provided custom built furniture for clients. Studio is recorded at lvl 8, 426 George St, Sydney. He was an early member of the Society of Interior Designers of Australia (1953).
