Frederick John Hasler was born in Galway, Ireland. Emigrated to Australia in Jan/Feb 1869 and landed in April 1869. Worked from home as a photographer in Gurner Street, St.Kilda and 96 Elizabeth Street, Melbourne (1870s address?) Brother to George, Brother In Law to Emily O'Shannessy, Uncle to Muriel Binney.
