George Rhubens

George Rhubens, portraitist, resided in Hobart Town, Van Diemen's Land, in the 1840s. On 2 July 1847 the Colonial Times announced the publication of a wood-engraving of 'Mr. Daniel Murphy, "the tapper". It had been engraved by Mrs Rogers of Brisbane Street after a drawing by George Rhubens.
