George Watkins b.

Watkins was an interior designer working for Frank G. O'Brien Ltd, Sydney, a furniture and shop-fittings firm responsible for designing milk bars, the later versions of the Repin's Coffee Houses and other commercial work. He travelled in Europe and North America in the early 1950s, returning to Sydney in 1952. On his return, he is described as Designer-in-Chief, Frank O'Brien P/L.
