Glenda Richards is a Ceduna based painter who works in the medium of acrylic on canvas. She has lived in Koonibba, Warramboo and attended school at Warramboo and Wudinna. She now lives and works in Ceduna. After studying at TAFE for four years she gained employment at the Weena Mooga Women’s Group where she remained for six months. She is a member of the Ceduna Aboriginal Arts and Cultural Centre and is active as a member of their Board of Management. It is through this organisation that she has learnt how to paint and the to understand the technical aspects of mixing colours. Ryan has participated in the Adelaide Festival Centre’s annual 'Our Mob’ exhibition in 2007 and 2008 and has exhibited at the Red Poles Gallery in Mclaren Vale where her painting Seven Sisters was sold to a private collector from New Zealand.
