  • AusReprints June 20, 2022 Haldane is probably not Australian, unless there is a second Haldane in the 21 March 1989 issue of The Bulletin. David Haldane is a British cartoonist (see https://haldanecartoons.co.uk/ and https://www.comics.org/creator/36571/). The Bulletin #5423, 3 July 1984 includes a Haldane cartoon as well as one by UK cartoonist Banx (Jeremy Banks). Based on the listing at www.comics.org, Haldane and Banx work is in similar publications. The signature in the 1984 issue of Bulletin matches the signature on his own website.
