After the war (c.1922), he came to Liverpool, NSW, where he lived for the rest of his life, building public halls and 'hundreds and hundreds of plans for houses in Liverpool’ travelling to the sites on bicycle. He also built the first cricket pitch in Liverpool and was a keen philatelist.
