Widmer was an industrial designer with studies in art and design, Kunstgewerbeschule, Zurich. Industrial designer BMC Australia 1956, Kriesler Radio 1958, Design director Kriesler Radio 1964, later moving into music and film (latter information based on interview with Brian Sear).
