Helene Walder

Walder was a designer and retailer working in Surfers Paradise, Queensland from 1958. Her boutique was co-founded with Robert Walder (they married in 1950). It was known as Helene's Boutique with a label "Helene of Surfers Paradise" and specialising in sportswear. Screen-printing was also carried out in the shop in the Black Dolphin Arcade.
