Ceramicist Jacqui Hudson first received a Diploma of Home Economics at the East Sydney Technical College in 1978 and then completed an Advanced Diploma at the Cordon Bleu Cookery School, London, in 1980. She then went on to attain a Certificate III in Applied Colour and Design at the School of Colour and Design, Sydney, in 2003 and a Bachelor of Fine Arts with Honours at the National Art School, Sydney, in 2009.

Hudson builds petite ceramic assemblages using egg shapes and architectural elements. She uses translucent Celadon glazes and Icelandic porcelain which give her works a sense of delicacy and softness.

Hudson has had several exhibitions in Sydney. She was the winner of both the Sabbia Gallery Exhibition Award and the N.E. Petherbridge Award in 2008.
