Janice Lyndon, Noongar artist, was born in Pinjarra in Western Australia. Lyndon is the mother of nine children. Her work was included in the 'Koorah Coolingah (Children Long Ago)’ exhibition which took place at the Katanning Arts Centre and the Western Australian Museum in Perth during the 2006 Perth International Arts Festival. In 2007 she was awarded the local artist prize at the Moorjditch Mar-Daa Art Award in Albany for her painting Carnarvon George, WA ; she participated in the award again in 2008. She has also illustrated two books: The Mark of the Wagarl by Lorna Little (2004) and Home to Mother by Doris Pilkington (2006).
