Joan Stewart b. 1930

  • Designer (Architect / Interior Architect / Landscape Architect)
Stewart trained at the Melbourne Institute of Technology (later RMIT) and was the secretary of the Interior Design Association of Australia (IDAA) established ca.1949. She worked as a designer through the "Studio of Interior Design" specialising in commercial interiors (Gillette, ACI Nylex) and after training in education at Melbourne University, later taught at the Melbourne College of Decoration.
