John Leach Barker b. 1897

Barker became well known for his lively watercolours and seascapes of the south coast. Winner of the watercolour prize in the 1950 Art Gallery of Western Australia Art Competition and the watercolour section of the Claude Hotchin Art Prize in 1962.
