Engelman is a regionally-based Australian artist, whose work is internationally recognised and represented throughout Australia in corporate and government collections. In 2007 she won 5th place in the Florence Biennale in Italy, receiving a Medici Medal for Art, the Lorenzo il Magnifico Award. Engelman studied the Diploma of Fine Arts at Mitchell College of Advanced Education in Bathurst NSW.
