photographer, was a member of an Adelaide family rich enough to allow her to travel extensively throughout Australia and Europe. Her interest in photography was encouraged by her father, and her earliest snapshots, mostly of animals, were taken when she was about 13. She did her own printing and enlarging and exhibited with the South Australian Photographic Society. Her photograph Winter (Art Gallery of South Australia) was taken in Europe c.1920.
