Born Mt Allan 1951, Kitty’s Dreamings were Yowagi (a small bird), Witchetty Grub, Bush Potato and Bush Bean. These Dreamings were all given to her by her mother. She also painted a Men’s Initiation given to her by her father. She began painting for Corkwood Gallery in 1988. Some of her activities were at the 'tourist end’ of the market: e.g. 12 months painting in the foyer of the Sheraton Hotel for six nights a week; painting a Bush Tucker Dreaming on a car belonging to a German travel agent. During the tourist season she and her young son used to perform traditional dancing for one of the tours. She showed in the annual Women of the Western Desert exhibitions in Perth and sold her work to overseas collectors.
