Les Mason

Mason played an active design role in Melbourne over thirty years. Mason moved to Melbourne in 1961 and joined the advertising agency USP Benson, where his innovative work earned him early recognition, including an award-winning campaign for Shell Australia. In 1962, he opened his own studio, becoming known for his conceptual and formal design approach. A 2025 Inductee, Design Institute of Australia’s (DIA) Hall of Fame.
