A sketcher and diarist, Lucy Gray lived in North Queensland after her marriage and kept an illustrated journal (1868-1872). She obviously intended it to be fairly widely circulated as it contains reworked passages and illustrations.

  • Jenna_Gray Dec. 6, 2017 I deleted relationships by Lucy Gray with Charles Gray, artist and pastoralist from fifeshire, Scotland as her spouse, and Rev. Roberts, Tasmania as her father. Neither of these relationships are correct. Lucy Gray was the daughter of Dr John Waters, of Birr, Country Offaly, Ireland and Helena Robinson. Her husband was Charles Gray, Officer MErchant marine and pastoralist, from Godmanchester, Huntingdonshire, England.
