Madame Bourdic

Madame Bourdic was an art teacher who specialised in painting on china. Bourdic and a Mrs Farquharson were in partnership in the 1880s and in 1885 they had 70 pupils at their Melbourne studio. At the 1888 Melbourne Centennial International Exhibition Bourdic won a jury award for her china painting.
