sketcher, visited New South Wales and Queensland in the 1850s, when she made 17 watercolour and pencil drawings for her album, Views in Australia and Views in Canada (1850-57). They include quite unpicturesque subjects like the sepia watercolour Clerk of Works’ House, and Workshops (from the New Cattle Abattoir) Glebe Island, Sydney, N.S.W. (27 August 1855) as well as more conventional sketchbook ones like Longpocket near Ipswich—Moreton Bay. The Residence of T.E.(?) Roberts Esqre (13 June 1857).
